You may participate on any style of SUP board so long as it does not exceed the maximum limit of 14’0.
Podium awards will go to the top 3 finishers in following categories:
Men 29 and under
Men 30 – 49
Men 50+
Women 29 and under
Women 30 – 49
Women 50+
Dragon Board Team Sprints!
This event is still in the planning phase. Depending on participation interest we may run this like a time trial or brackets. Dragon rentals are available if you team would like to practice ahead of time.
The Willamette River is rather spectacular. It runs hundreds of miles before it takes center stage right though the heart of Portland. Ross Island, just south of downtown, provides a loop course for our 6 and 4.5 racers who will negotiate currents, wind, buoys and their own fitness as they paddle around the island.
